Two more singles off the album, Decker struggled with the label's executives for greater control of her music. her subsequent track Boys in the Summer was an album that was more country-oriented. The second album of Decker, dubbed as Daughter of a Gypsy and Sweet American Dreams by Mercury Records, was canceled because Mercury saw the poor performances of three of her singles on the country charts.
