Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actress that has appeared in numerous television series. VanCamp also has a great record in the world of film. She's popular in both Canadian and American television. Emily was first interested in acting when she saw her sister Katie performing in a film. As soon as she realized that acting was her passion, Emily began taking acting classes and attend auditions. She started out with a small amount of advertisements and then was included in the show Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror film for children. In the show, she appeared in just one scene without any dialog. Her first break came at the age of 15, when she was cast in the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's character attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, even though the show ended after just nine seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular on Everwood. Additionally, a dancer and photographer, Emily was featured by Teen as one of the most popular actors under 20. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
