Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four children, was born on the 8th of August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents a dental surgeon and a teacher recognised and supported her love of theatre and drama at an early age, which was more important than a desire to be a primatologist due to her passion for monkeys. She rose to prominence as a child actress quickly and with great popularity and success. When she finished her education She was a part of the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actress. Tautou was raised in the context of a Catholic family and attended church, even though she went to school at school at the Institut Catholique de Paris.
