Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American actress singer and dancer. She began her Broadway career performing in musicals like Wicked, Legally Blonde, as well as Hair. In her performance as Essie in You Can't Take It With You she won the Tony Award. Annaleigh is a Tony Award winning actress as well as director, has spent the bulk of her career working alongside well-known directors and actors on stage and screen. Ashford, who is not familiar with Broadway has won two Tony Drama Desk Awards as in addition to Outer Critics Circle Awards in the role of Essie.
